On the afternoon of November 20, the official authorities of Guilin City, Guangxi Province, held a press conference on COVID-19 prevention and control, announcing that from 0:00 to 24:00 on November 19, Guilin City reported 120 new locally transmitted asymptomatic infections, including 118 cases in Lingui District, 1 case in Qixing District, and 1 case in Xiangshan District.
On November 19, Guilin City mobilized more than 15,000 people to carry out nucleic acid testing, setting up over 1,800 sampling sites in total. As of 10 p.m. on the 19th, a cumulative total of 1,650,200 people had been sampled in key areas across Lingui District, Diecai District, Qixing District, and other districts and counties in Guilin City. Guilin City is adhering to the principle of "prompt detection, immediate notification, swift arrangement, and leaving no one behind," and is making every effort at full speed to carry out isolation, transportation, and disinfection work.
