Hengbao Protection Nominated for “2022 Guangxi’s Most Competitive Private Enterprise”
On September 6, the 2022 Guangxi Top 100 Private Enterprises Release Conference, hosted by the Autonomous Region Federation of Industry and Commerce and the People's Government of Liuzhou City, was held in Liuzhou. At the conference, the list of “2022 Guangxi’s Most Competitive Private Enterprises” was also released.
Guilin Hengbao Health Protection Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Hengbao Protection”) has made the list, becoming one of the few private enterprises in Guilin to be included on this ranking.
It is reported that in 2021, the top 100 private enterprises in Guangxi achieved "three new highs." Among these, the entry threshold reached a new high of 1.417 billion yuan, an increase of 326 million yuan over the previous year, representing a growth rate of 30%. Total operating revenue also hit a new high of 609.81 billion yuan, with a growth rate exceeding 29%. The number of enterprises with operating revenues surpassing 10 billion yuan increased significantly to 14, up by 5 compared to the previous year. Total assets reached a new high of 527.357 billion yuan, up 5.4% from the previous year. The number of enterprises whose total assets exceeded 10 billion yuan rose to 16, an increase of 4 compared to the previous year.
Awarded “2022 Guangxi’s Most Competitive Private Enterprise”
The vigorous rise of private enterprises has injected a “tonic” into the social economy. Especially as Guilin is fully committed to building itself into a world-class tourist city, private enterprises can unleash even greater social momentum and help Guilin reach new heights.
As a local Guilin enterprise and a leading player in China’s latex industry, Hengbao Protective has always placed product quality and social responsibility at the forefront. The company has already established 20 single-row production lines for medical surgical gloves, with an annual capacity to produce over 600 million pairs of high-quality medical surgical gloves—placing it first in China and among the top three globally in terms of production capacity.
Hengbao Protection has also built four condom production lines, with an annual output of over 500 million high-quality condoms. Currently, we are planning a third-generation flexible polyurethane (artificial latex) production line and are committed to establishing a global center for the production and R&D of artificial-latex condoms.
Meanwhile, Hengbao Protective Products has maintained rapid growth, achieving record highs for three consecutive years, with production capacity and output value increasing by over 110%. In 2020 and 2021, Hengbao Protective Products’ flagship product—medical latex gloves—held market shares of 32.6% and 35.2%, respectively, ranking first in domestic sales volume and third in overall domestic sales.
Medis’ antiviral medical gloves, wet-hand donning gloves, and PI gloves have filled an international gap, making it the first Chinese medical glove manufacturer to export to the United States, the European Union, and Japan. Additionally, the medical gloves and masks produced by Hengbao Protective have been featured at the Beijing Winter Olympics—making Guilin the only city in Guangxi to have its products selected for the Olympic Games in this category.
It is understood that since 2018, the Federation of Industry and Commerce of the Autonomous Region has released the Top 100 list for five consecutive years. This time, Hengbao Protective has been listed on the “Most Competitive Private Enterprises in Guangxi,” which reflects the high recognition and appreciation from all sectors of society and is also the result of the concerted efforts of everyone at Hengbao Protective.
